Evita Grant, PhD is the CEO and Founder of TecHustle, a tech company that helps African small businesses trade globally and competitively by providing financial services and supporting international commerce.

Evita is a former lawyer at a top 50 US law firm where her practice included intellectual property development, counseling, and monetization for clients in the life sciences, biotechnology, clean energy, and high-tech industries. Her legal highlights include consulting a Brazilian government agency on academia technology transfer; authoring the first article ever published on the Food and Drug Law Journal relating to FDA regulation of CRISPR gene-editing technology; and helping to establish an exemption to the Anti-Circumvention Rule of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Evita is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (BSc in Chemical Engineering) and Harvard University (PhD in Engineering Sciences and JD in Law).
